Nicely stated, Gummi girl. I am thankful my 14yo daughter wants no part in any social media platforms and, in fact, hardly ever switches her phone on. It's a tough world out there and my heart goes out to these confused and angry youngsters. Thankfully we have people like you to balance out the crazy!
Much respect to any 7/8th grader studying physics. She might benefit from the Disaffected Podcast, at least the first couple of episodes, to understand the attention-seeking behavior that goes into this type of destructive fad. Gummi Baby Bearette is probably too young to remember Tumblr, but much of what we find toxic and faddish in the current day was a product of the fanfic community when organized on Tumblr. Primarily a phenomenon of young women, fanfic and Tumblr became the breeding ground for much of what is wrong in today's promotion of the abnormal, whether in sexuality or anything else.
